Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Engineer to join our Collins Aerospace data team in Puerto Rico. This hybrid role focuses on designing and optimizing enterprise data warehousing solutions using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere, delivering scalable data models and high-performance ETL pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SAP BW/4HANA, strong ABAP knowledge, and experience with ADSOs/CompositeProviders/ODS Views, with a hands-on approach to data modeling and cloud integration

Qualifications

• University degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA.
• HANA modeling and SQLScript expertise.
• Experience designing complex BW objects (ADSOs, CompositeProviders, ODS Views).
• Hands-on ABAP knowledge for transformations, user exits, and routines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling best practices and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
• Assist with modernization efforts, including migration from legacy BW systems and integration with cloud data platforms .
• Build and optimize HANA native models, SQLScript logic, and calculation views
• Develop high-performance ETL pipelines using SDI, SLT, or BODS.
• Partner with analytics teams to deliver semantic models for SAC,or other BI tools.
• Assist with incident resolution, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for SAP data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support DevOps processes including gCTS/CTS+, Git-based workflows, CI/CD automation.
• Contribute to architecture roadmaps, technology evaluations, and long-term strategic planning.

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA / SAP Datasphere Engineer to work the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions. What You Will Do:
