Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced SAP BI/BD Data Architect to design and migrate SAP BW/7.x models to SAP Datasphere. You will create InfoProviders, ADSOs, and CompositeProviders, and lead data modeling for cloud consumption with CDS views. The role requires strong ABAP/BEx knowledge and collaboration with SAP teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent and 5+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP BW (7.x) and BW/4HANA expertise.
• Migration experience to SAP Datasphere with CDS Views is preferred.
• Experience with SAP ECC/S4 extractors and SAC analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models (InfoCubes/InfoObjects/InfoProviders/ADSO/CompositeProviders/MultiProviders).
• Lead migration of BW models/logic to SAP BDC, Datasphere data modeling, and SAC reporting.
• Convert BW objects to CDS views and semantic models for cloud use.
• Map legacy BW objects to Datasphere entities (Datasets/Views/Replication Flows).
• Improve BW and Datasphere performance via optimization and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and SAP teams to translate requirements.
• Support reporting migration from BEx to SAC Stories/Models/Analytic Apps.
• Maintain data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata across BW/Datasphere.
• Troubleshoot data load issues, performance problems, and integration errors.
• Document designs, data flows, conversion approaches, and procedures.
