Job summary
Weyerhaeuser is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Engineer to join the SAP Basis and Platform Engineering team. You will design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions across SAP BTP, SAP HANA, and SAP Solution Manager, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure.
This role supports both on‑premise and cloud-hosted SAP systems and may lead medium to large‑scale initiatives. You will translate IT strategy into actionable platform capabilities, socialize BTP services, and drive modernization and
Qualifications
- 8+ years in SAP Basis and platform engineering.
- Strong SAP BTP, Basis, and HANA expertise.
- Experience designing and implementing SAP BTP solutions.
- Cloud and on-premise SAP environments experience.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain deep understanding of SAP BTP services and capabilities.
- Socialize BTP capabilities across IT and business teams.
- Design and implement SAP BTP services to support integration and analytics.
- Identify opportunities for automation and standardization.
- Build and optimize SAP technical infrastructure, cloud and on‑premise.
- Handle system changes, migrations, upgrades, and patches for SAP landscape.
- Manage backup, high availability, and disaster recovery processes.
- Host SAP systems in Microsoft Azure with cost-effective resource management.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams; work with vendors.
- Support audit, governance, and compliance for SAP environments.
