Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking an SAP Developer to support our SAP platform focusing on Billing and Customer Choice solutions. You will design, develop, test, and support SAP processes enabling critical utility billing and market operations.

Key responsibilities include developing SAP programs, reports, interfaces, and workflows, collaborating with business teams, and maintaining documentation. A Bachelor's degree and SAP ABAP experience are required, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
• SAP ABAP development experience.
• Familiarity with SAP development lifecycle processes, transports, and production support.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support SAP solutions for utility billing and deregulated market operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Create unit tests and assist with user acceptance testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and best-practice standards.
