Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Manager to lead the Basis team across SAP S/4HANA, RISE Private Cloud, and related applications.

You will own strategy, architecture, and performance while developing a high-performing team and ensuring delivery with SI/AMS partners. The role requires deep SAP Basis expertise, strong people management, and the ability to drive cross-technology alignment in a hybrid landscape.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP Basis experience, with 3+ years in people management.
• Proven leadership of Basis teams through SAP RISE engagements.
• Experience with multiple greenfield SAP hyperscaler implementations.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid SAP solutions and multi-system landscapes.
• Budgeting for infrastructure, cloud, and licensing; vendor contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis roadmap and strategy across S/4HANA, RISE, BTP, SuccessFactors, and Commerce Cloud.
• Oversee system configuration standards, performance tuning, and availability.
• Ensure 24x7 support with on-call rotations; incident escalation handling.
• Manage SI/AMS vendor relationships, SLAs, and budget ownership.
• Govern change management, patching, and system documentation.
