Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. seeks an experienced SAP Development Manager to lead the SAP development team across S/4HANA and BTP landscape. This role owns technical strategy, standards, and delivery quality for ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development, plus CPI, Work Zone, Datasphere, and SAC initiatives.

Ideal candidate combines deep SAP development expertise with proven people-management experience and acts as the primary contact between CRH, SI/AMS partners, and internal teams for development matters.

Qualifications

10+ years of SAP development experience across project and support
3+ years in a people-management or team-lead role
Strong hands-on background in ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development
Experience with S/4HANA development tools and patterns (CDS, OData, RAP)
Knowledge of SAP BTP areas including CPI and Work Zone

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor SAP Development Leads/Developers, set goals and career plans
Define and promote SAP technical standards and design guidelines across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and BTP
Own the technical roadmap for modern SAP development tools and patterns
Oversee development governance, code/document/test reviews for complex components
Coordinate with Mulesoft/integration teams for clean handoffs and interfaces
