Job summary

Accenture in the United States is seeking an SAP Basis Manager to lead delivery across S/4HANA projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield conversions, BTP extensions, and AMS engagements. You will own technical landscape design, cutover planning, and go-live readiness from a platform perspective.

You will architect SAP HANA environments on Azure, drive HA/DR strategies, govern transports and releases, and mentor a team of Basis consultants while engaging client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; at least 12 years of work experience.
• Minimum 5 years SAP Basis experience with 2+ full S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
• Experience in Azure or other hyperscaler cloud environments.
• Proven track record leading small-to-medium Basis teams (3–8 people).
• SAP certification in technology or S/4HANA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis workstream delivery across S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, BTP extension and AMS engagements.
• Architect and govern SAP HANA environments on Azure or equivalent hyperscaler infrastructure.
• Drive high-availability and disaster recovery implementations and validate go-live readiness.
• Own transport and release governance, CI/CD integration where applicable.
• Mentor Basis consultants and coordinate knowledge transfers across teams.
• Engage client stakeholders, provide risk flags and landscape readiness updates.
