Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale, multi-site technology deployment projects.
• Develop and maintain program budgets, forecasts, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare executive-level status reports and program updates.
• Ensure governance standards and project controls are followed.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, procurement, and leadership.
• Oversee contract change orders, invoicing processes, and vendor performance.
• Track project accomplishments and performance against baselines.

Location: Remote (DMV Area: DC, MD, VA)

Contract Type: W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $72/hr on W2—All Inclusive

Contract Duration: 11 Months of contact with potential for extension or conversion to full-time

About Opportunity

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and support large-scale technology deployment initiatives.
• This role combines program management, financial oversight, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project governance, financial forecasting, budget management, vendor relations, and enterprise technology implementations.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support large-scale, multi-site technology deployment projects
• Manage program budgets, forecasts, accruals, and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and delivery plans
• Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Prepare executive-level status reports and program updates
• Ensure compliance with governance standards and project controls
• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, procurement teams, and leadership
• Manage contract change orders, invoicing processes, and vendor performance
• Track project accomplishments, deliverables, and performance against established baselines

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Program/Project Management experience
• Experience supporting large-scale technology implementations or deployment programs
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting experience
• Experience with accrual-based accounting practices
• Vendor management and procurement coordination experience
• Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience managing project schedules and milestone tracking
