SAP Technical Project/Program Manager – Business Applications

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP Technical Project/Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex SAP and enterprise business application initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional programs, driving SAP transformation projects, coordinating technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise application solutions that support business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP technical knowledge with exceptional program management capabilities and experience leading large-scale business application implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple SAP and enterprise business application projects from initiation through deployment and post-production support.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and success metrics.

Establish and manage program governance, steering committee meetings, and executive status reporting.

Drive project execution while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business priorities.

Manage dependencies across multiple projects, workstreams, and technology teams.

SAP & Business Applications Management

Oversee implementation, enhancement, integration, and support initiatives across SAP platforms and related business applications.

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.

Manage SAP technical teams, solution architects, developers, system integrators, and external vendors.

Ensure successful delivery of SAP projects involving Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and HR business processes.

Coordinate application modernization and digital transformation programs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

10+ years of project/program management experience delivering enterprise application initiatives.

7+ years of experience managing SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, or transformation projects.

Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integrations, and enterprise application ecosystems.

Proven experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs with budgets exceeding $1M.

Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar platforms.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.

SAP certification in relevant functional or technical areas.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformation programs.

Knowledge of integration technologies, middleware platforms, and data migration strategies.

Experience working in high-tech, semiconductor, manufacturing, or enterprise software industries.
