Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team as an independent contractor. The developer will be responsible for custom ABAP development tasks related to SAP implementations, focusing primarily on RICE components: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements (Extensions). This is a fully remote opportunity offering competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICE components) in support of SAP implementations.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP developments.
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing efforts.
• Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Document development work and provide technical support as needed.
• Work independently to manage tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in developing RICE components: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements.
• Experience working with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, or others preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP development tools and environments (SAP GUI, Eclipse).
• Ability to work independently as a contractor with excellent time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience supporting SAP implementation projects.
