Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.
• Build and extend SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5 and OData services.
• Collaborate with functional specialists on technical designs and estimates.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Coordinate transports and releases with Basis, integration, security, and testing.
• Maintain technical documentation including support and deployment instructions.

Position Summary

K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC seeks an SAP ABAP and Fiori Developer to build and maintain applications for federal clients. This role translates business requirements into reliable SAP functionality and accessible user experiences while supporting integration, testing, and production operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces based on approved requirements.
• Build and extend SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and supporting OData services.
• Collaborate with functional specialists to prepare technical designs and estimate development work.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to improve application reliability.
• Coordinate transports and releases with Basis, integration, security, and testing personnel.
• Resolve application defects and maintain technical documentation, including support and deployment instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform.
• At least 20 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting federal government programs.
• Proficiency in ABAP, object oriented development, SAPUI5, JavaScript, and OData services.
• Ability to troubleshoot SAP applications and apply secure coding, usability, and accessibility practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred
• Secret Clearance eligible.
