Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, NE is seeking a Sanitor Night Shift to maintain high sanitation and safety standards. You will perform routine cleaning and equipment sanitation, follow the MSS, and work with multiple teams to ensure clean, safe production lines.

We value individuals who are 18+, adaptable to shifts, can work independently, and have experience in food manufacturing sanitation. The role is on-site with a cooling environment and exposure to loud equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to plan daily work, work independently and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, following safety, quality and sanitation policies; identify and report hazards.
• Perform 7 steps of sanitation, clean processing equipment, tools and facilities.
• Perform sanitation duties as per the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Remove product from equipment using water and industrial cleaners/sanitizers.
• Promote a positive, high-quality team environment through teamwork and self-management.
• Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize daily tasks per shift plans.
• Understand microbiological/pest control programs relevant to food manufacturing sanitation.
• Collaborate with site teams on sanitation projects.
• Complete training materials on time.

We’re Looking For A(n):

Sanitor Night Shift

Location:

Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work safely, complying with all safety, quality and sanitation policies and procedures and proactively identify and report potential safety hazards so they can be corrected.
• Perform 7 steps of sanitation consistently, effectively and efficiently; manual cleaning of plant processing equipment, tools, containers and facilities; disassemble and assemble processing equipment.
• Perform sanitation duties as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Remove product from equipment, tools and containers utilizing a water hose and industrial cleaners/sanitizers.
• Promote high quality team environment through effective teamwork and self-management with a positive attitude.
• Prioritize work daily by identifying pressing issues, through communication with direct team lead/supervisor and team members, knowing shift production plans and awareness of area.
• Understanding of microbiological and pest control programs as it pertains to sanitation in the food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with all teams at site on sanitation projects.
• Completing training materials on time as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to plan work daily, work independently and be a self-starter and a highly motivated individual
• Ability to work with a team and effectively interact with other departments.
• 1 year cleaning/sanitizing equipment in food manufacturing environment
• Lift to 60 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively throughout a 10 - 12-hour shift
• This position will be required to work frequently indoors in a cooled sanitaryenvironment with temperatures 45 degrees or below.
• Frequently around loud production equipment.
• Chemical hazards; abrasive chemicals
• Slip, trip and fall hazards due to water, chemical and product on the floors.
