Position Overview

As a Sanitor, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within our manufacturing facility. This position supports our company’s commitment to quality, food safety, and compliance by ensuring all plant areas meet strict sanitation and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all established food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Maintain and follow the Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) to ensure consistent sanitation of all plant areas.
Responsible for ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory of janitorial supplies in coordination with approved vendors.
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, and waste removal.
Ensure all cleaning activities are compliant with CFR 110 (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards.
Identify and report any deviations from cleanliness or safety standards promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of self, equipment, and work areas.
Clean elevated surfaces safely, including catwalks and areas requiring the use of a scissor lift.
Must be available to work variable shifts as needed to support production and sanitation schedules.
May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. A passing score on an aptitude test is required in lieu of a diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and document tasks clearly and effectively.
Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.
