Responsibilities

• Break down, clean, and sanitize food-processing equipment to perform deep cleaning.
• Perform janitorial duties including cleaning offices, locker rooms, restrooms, and lunchrooms.
• Wash pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation.
• Launder company-owned clothing in the on-site laundry facility.
• Regularly clean auxiliary rooms, facility structures, and exterior areas.
• Accurately mix and safely apply cleaning and sanitizing chemicals according to established procedures.
• Properly and safely operate cleaning equipment and sanitation machinery.
• Maintain hazard-free work areas and ensure compliance with all safety programs.
• Exercise sound judgment and follow safe work practices to protect yourself and others.
• Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments in a self-directed work environment.
• Follow all requirements related to SQF, FSMA, HACCP/HARPC, cGMPs, and OSHA regulations within a food manufacturing facility.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and learn additional food safety, quality, and sanitation procedures as required.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), personnel hygiene standards, allergen awareness, and food safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Comfortable working in wet, cold, humid, and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay Details

$19.20 to $20.20 per hour
