Job summary

Mamas Creations in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness across our facility, supporting food production, manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely during the 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM night shift.

The ideal candidate has custodial or janitorial experience, knowledge of sanitation procedures, and a safety-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and industrial cleaning techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and hygiene compliance

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, warehouses, and general facility spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
• Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning tasks to meet sanitation standards
• Sanitize equipment, surfaces, and workstations in food processing or manufacturing environments
• Assist with waste removal and disposal in compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of cleaning machinery
