The City of Punta Gorda is hiring a laborer to perform solid waste collection for residents and businesses. The position involves collecting solid waste from curbs and businesses, refuse collection with manual pickup or dumpsters, and operating a packer truck under landfill directions.
Applicants should have at least 2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (desirable), and a valid Florida Class B CDL.
