Job summary

Hanover Foods Corporation in Hanover, PA is seeking an experienced sanitation associate to clean all food processing equipment and production areas in compliance with GMPs and company standards. The role requires adherence to sanitation procedures and a willingness to perform related janitorial tasks.

The successful candidate will read and follow written instructions, operate basic tools, and work safely in a production environment on the graveyard shift.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all food processing equipment and production areas in accordance with Company standards and GMP’s.
• Reports any mechanical and/or safety issues to Supervisor
• Responsible for following all Company and government policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, food safety, food security, plant security, etc.
• Perform other assignments as required including trash hauling, waste hauling, grounds keeping, snow removal, janitorial services, etc.
• Follows common safety practices including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.
• Ensures the facility is kept clean and orderly
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Summary of Position

Responsible for cleaning all food processing equipment and production areas in accordance with prescribed sanitation techniques and procedures while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans all food processing equipment and production areas in accordance with Company standards and GMP’s.
• Reports any mechanical and/or safety issues to Supervisor
• Responsible for following all Company and government policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, food safety, food security, plant security, etc.
