Summary of Position:Responsible for cleaning all food processing equipment and production areas in accordance with prescribed sanitation techniques and procedures while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).Duties and Responsibilities:Cleans all food processing equipment and production areas in accordance with Company standards and GMP’s.Reports any mechanical and/or safety issues to SupervisorResponsible for following all Company and government policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, food safety, food security, plant security, etc.Perform other assignments as required including trash hauling, waste hauling, grounds keeping, snow removal, janitorial services, etc.Follows common safety practices including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.Ensures the facility is kept clean and orderlyPerforms other duties as assigned by SupervisorEssential Functions:The ability to attend work predictably and regularly and to be punctual.The ability to read and understand documents, drawings, and instructions (whether presented in written, oral, diagram or schedule form).The ability to work with mathematical concepts and to apply concepts to practical situations.The ability to work cooperatively with others.The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.The ability to perform several tasks at once.The ability to follow direction or instruction.The ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.The ability to lift and move ___ pounds.The ability to sit/stand/bend/stretch, etc.The ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with the hands and arms.Minimum Qualifications:Ability to read, write and understand the English languageGood communication skillsBasic math skills
