Job summary

Vonachen Group in Wanamingo, MN is seeking a Sanitation Worker to maintain a clean, safe facility. You will perform routine and deep cleaning of production areas, follow SOPs, and use approved sanitizers while adhering to safety guidelines.

This is a full-time role on 2nd and 3rd shifts, offering $22.25/hr and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), and PTO. Must be 18+, reliable, with strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform routine and deep cleaning of facility areas, including production floors, equipment, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
Execute sanitation procedures using approved chemicals, tools, and methods, following all safety and dilution guidelines.
Vacuum and clean equipment as required for proper sanitation.
Follow established sanitation schedules and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Identify and report contamination risks, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to leadership.
Handle, store, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste per standards.
Maintain sanitation logs and documentation as required.
Stock and maintain sanitation supplies.
Support inspections and audits with cleanliness and documentation readiness.
Adhere to PPE and safety protocols at all times.
Assist with special sanitation projects or emergency cleanups.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Vonachen Group is looking to hire a Sanitation Worker in Wanamingo, MN.

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment through the thorough cleaning and sanitizing of facilities, equipment, and high-touch surfaces. This role ensures compliance with all company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSHA, FDA, USDA where applicable). The Sanitation Worker plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Job Responsibilities

Execute sanitation procedures using approved chemicals, tools, and methods, following all safety and dilution guidelines.

- Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and repetitive motion
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying environments (wet, humid, hot, or cold conditions depending on facility)
- Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods
