Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Mississippi is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to keep our facility clean, safe, and ready for production. You’ll support morning operations by preparing spaces, equipment, and surfaces for the day shift.

The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, dependability, and a safety-first mindset. You should be comfortable getting wet and working independently or with a team to meet sanitation standards and keep production flowing.

Responsibilities

• Spray, wash, sanitize, and dry production pans, trays, racks, utensils, and machine parts.
• Empty trash, compost, and recycling and transport waste to dumpsters or compactors.
• Sweep, mop, squeegee, and scrub floors, walls, drains, processing areas, and break areas.
• Dilute, label, and handle cleaning chemicals following SDS and safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned and ready for the morning shift.
• Complete deep-cleaning projects and other duties assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor.

SANITATION WORKER

Do you take pride in making things sparkle? As a Sanitation Worker, you’ll be one of the behind-the-scenes heroes who keeps our facility clean, safe, and ready for production. When the morning crew arrives, your work helps them hit the ground running!

What You’ll Do

• Bring on the Shine: Spray, wash, sanitize, and dry production pans, trays, racks, utensils, and machine parts.
• Take Out the Trash: Empty trash, compost, and recycling bins throughout the plant and transport waste to the appropriate outdoor dumpsters or compactors.
• Make Every Surface Count: Sweep, mop, squeegee, and scrub floors, walls, drains, processing areas, and break areas.
• Clean Safely: Properly dilute, label, and handle cleaning chemicals by following SDS guidelines and company safety procedures
• Prep for Production: Ensure equipment and work areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for the incoming morning shift.
• Tackle the Tough Stuff: Complete deep-cleaning projects and other duties assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor.
