This is an important hands‑on role working in a refrigerated/cold food production environment. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and production areas to help ensure our products meet the highest standards for food safety, quality, and cleanliness.

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Candidates must also have the flexibility to start earlier and stay later when production and sanitation needs require it.

If you take pride in doing a job right, pay attention to the details, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd like to meet you!

What You'll Do
  • Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, conveyors, production lines, utensils, and production areas.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Wash, scrub, rinse, and sanitize floors, walls, drains, ceilings, and other facility areas.
  • Remove food residue, debris, and waste from production areas.
  • Follow established sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Safely mix, handle, and use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
  • Perform pre‑operational inspections to make sure equipment and areas are clean and ready for production.
  • Complete sanitation logs and required documentation accurately.
  • Report equipment damage, maintenance needs, or food safety concerns to management.
  • Follow GMPs, HACCP requirements, USDA/FDA regulations, and company food safety procedures.
  • Wear required PPE and follow all plant safety procedures.
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and corrective actions when needed.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain high sanitation standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What to Expect

We want candidates to understand the work environment and schedule before joining our team.

  • Regular schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
  • Schedule flexibility is required. Depending on production and sanitation needs, you may need to start earlier than 7:00 AM and/or stay later than 3:30 PM.
  • Cold environment: This position works in a refrigerated food production facility where temperatures are kept cooler for food safety and product quality.
  • Hands‑on, physical work: You'll be on your feet and regularly moving, bending, reaching, scrubbing, washing, and cleaning throughout your shift.
  • Wet environment: Sanitation work involves water, cleaning solutions, and sanitizing chemicals.
  • PPE required: You'll wear appropriate personal protective equipment while performing sanitation duties.
  • Occasional weekend or additional hours may be required based on business and production needs.

  • Comfortable performing physical, hands‑on cleaning work.
  • Able to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
