Job summary

Fresh Texas in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Sanitation Tech responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing and packaging equipment, plus all food and nonfood-contact surfaces in the plant. You will clean lines, conveyors, and packaging equipment, open valves, and maintain safety and hygiene across shifts.

The role requires physical mobility, ability to work with caustic cleaners and in cold, humid environments.

Qualifications

• Must wear protective gear such as hazmat suit.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Able to work at heights and in environments with cold temperatures and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Clean processing and packaging equipment.
• Clean lines, conveyors, and nonfood-contact surfaces.
• Open valves and remove guards as required.
• Act as first responder for food safety and housekeeping needs.
• Work with caustic cleaning agents, hot water, and foaming agents.
