Job summary

Fresh Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot line equipment, and repair electrical and mechanical systems. You will diagnose issues, replace faulty components, and support pneumatic and hydraulic systems while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, and ownership of tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair line equipment.
• Repair electrical equipment and control systems.
• Identify, diagnose and replace broken components; repair malfunctions.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems and plant utilities.
• Keep records of work performed and parts used.
• Participate in safety practices and keep accurate documentation.

Come grow with us!Job OverviewMaintenance Technician, you will be expected to be proficient in Mechanics and Electrical fields to work independently as well as working toward the development of other maintenance disciplines described below. You are expected to understand and maintain typical industrial components that are arrayed into machines that accomplish specific tasks.Responsibilities & DutiesPerform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment. Troubleshoot and repair Line equipment. Support the facility by effectively interfacing with the team by repairing other equipment as needed. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs and maintenance.Replace P.C. Boards, Program VFD'sIdentify, Repair and replace broken machine components. Diagnose malfunctions and analyze results using testing devices. Perform preventative maintenance and inspect parts for signs of excessive wear or damage. Repairs, modifies and/or replaces parts on all production and facility equipment.Maintain, replace and repairs all pneumatic equipment. Troubleshoot complex pneumatic system issues.Repair and maintain: Air compressors and other plant utility systems.
