Job summary

Performance Food Group’s Sanitation, Warehouse team is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment to support daily operations. The role supports health and safety by following policies and performing janitorial tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas to ensure a compliant workspace.

The position schedules Sunday-Thursday, 4:00pm to 1:00am, with benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities for growth within a national food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
