Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) seeks a sanitation associate for our warehouse operations on the Sunday–Thursday shift, 4:00pm to 1:00am. You will maintain cleanliness and safety across dry, cooler, and freezer areas while supporting daily warehouse functions.

Responsibilities include performing janitorial tasks, handling cleaning chemicals per hazmat guidelines, and completing required safety training. The role emphasizes a safe, inclusive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Report unsafe conditions or acts to ensure colleague safety.
• Perform cleaning duties: dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat sheets.
• Complete Pure Safety training modules timely and accurately.
• Operate pallet jack to move refuse/trash as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
