Job summary

BetterButter in Utah seeks a Sanitation Technician to ensure optimum product quality by performing cleaning and sanitation in production areas. This role serves as a springboard into maintenance, while following GMP standards and reporting issues promptly.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to pass pre-employment exams; the schedule runs Monday–Thursday 4 pm–2:30 am with overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills including decimals and units.
• Basic computer skills, MS Office and related applications.
• Must pass pre-employment exams (video interview, personality, physical, aptitude).

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping to clean floors, walls, ceilings, vents, and equipment.
• Conduct pre-operations checks on product contact surfaces.
• Follow GMPs and document duties.
• Maintain clean, sanitary and safe work area.
• Wear PPE and handle chemicals safely as trained.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Disassemble/assemble equipment for cleaning and sanitation.
