Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry, located in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a Janitor to maintain cleanliness of production rooms, warehouse, and office areas in a food manufacturing environment. You will follow SOPs and meet Quality Assurance and Sanitation standards, working under the Team Lead and Supervisor to comply with regulatory requirements.

The role requires experience in a related field, ability to follow cleaning procedures, and a commitment to safety and product quality in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 months experience in a related field, quality inspection or manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Must communicate effectively with co-workers and departments.
• Ability to perform physical and mental work as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial tasks such as cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions with a positive attitude and collaboration.
• Pass cleaning tests and meet QA/ sanitation requirements and third-party inspections.
• Use cleaning chemicals correctly and test strengths when required.
• Follow GMP, SQF/ HACCP rules and regulations.
