Mt. Olive Pickle Company, Inc. is seeking a sanitation worker to clean equipment, containers and facilities following established procedures. You will document work in the sanitation schedule and assist with waste disposal.

The role requires safe handling of chemicals, operation of cleaning machinery, and adherence to safety rules. Forklift experience is preferred and high school completion is expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be properly trained to handle chemicals.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clean work area as assigned by supervisor, in all areas.
• Follow procedures for cleaning, rinsing, foaming, steaming and sanitizing equipment and facilities; dispose of garbage with forklift and keep drains/floor areas clear.
• Operate production equipment correctly to aid cleaning.
• Follow safety procedures for safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Measure and mix chemicals per established procedures.
• Record sanitation work on the Sanitation Schedule daily.
• Maintain dumpster area in clean and orderly condition.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Participate in training, employee meetings and other duties as directed.
