Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking candidates for a production-oriented role within our facilities in Georgia. The position requires regular heavy lifting (50–100 lbs), frequent standing/walking, and ability to work in refrigerated or unconditioned environments.

Training on CBTs will be provided, with strict adherence to GMPs, PPE, and safety protocols. Responsibilities include following verbal and written instructions, and executing cleaning and maintenance tasks across platform A/B equipment,

Qualifications

• Stay up-to-date on all Computer Based Training (CBT)
• Follow GMPs, PPE requirements, and Code of Ethics, as well as all material handling, dock and security safety.
• Comprehend and follow verbal instructions, written short correspondence and memos.
• Demonstrated ability to operate or perform COP tanks, floor cleaning/Boost, drain cleaning, safe chemical use, palletizer cleaning, trash cans cleaning, and cleaning the tank farm.

Responsibilities

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently stand and walk; sitting, using hands to lift or move, reaching with hands and arms.
• Work in a refrigerated or unconditioned environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate or perform Platform A or B tasks as certified by a supervisor.
• Operate Clean In Place (CIP) systems for High Shear, Cooker Cooler and System 3 C/D; CIP Rails; External cleaning of Deck.
