Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Georgia is actively seeking a manufacturing associate to support Level II through Lead responsibilities in a fast-paced plant environment. You will perform duties across batching, weighing, transferring, and equipment cleaning while following GMPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities expand with level progression, including system operation, training of colleagues, and maintaining training programs.

Qualifications

Stay up-to-date on Computer Based Training (Alchemy).
Follow GMPs, PPE requirements, and Code of Ethics, Food safety, EHS programs (SPCC, LOTO, EEP, incident reporting).
Comprehend verbal instructions and written memos, using supporting applications (Poka).
Understand and use SAP functions for the role.
Demonstrated ability to pre-weigh liquids and dries, as certified by a supervisor.
Inspect and clean equipment and work stations per cleaning plans.
Perform duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.

Responsibilities

Level II: Start time 2:00am up to 8 hours and overtime when approved.
Level II: Operate three systems as certified by a supervisor.
Level II: Operate equipment for batching, weighing, transferring, cleaning, and storing materials.
Level III: All Level II duties, plus ability to operate all systems.
Lead: Coach and train associates, supervise daily activities, and gather analytics for improvements.
Lead: Develop and maintain safety training programs for plant machinery and equipment.
