Job summary

The Mennel Milling Company in Fostoria, OH is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to maintain cleanliness and support food safety across the facility. You will work to ensure a hygienic environment that protects employees and product quality.

Responsibilities include sanitation tasks in production and non-production areas, removing flour buildup, and keeping break rooms and restrooms clean. Compliance with GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA is required.

Qualifications

• Ensure designated production and non-production areas are clean and sanitary.
• Remove flour accumulation through blow-down and vacuuming procedures.
• Clean and maintain break rooms, restrooms, and other areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Operate sanitation-related equipment and facility equipment such as pallet jacks and straight trucks.
• Follow GMP, OSHA, HACCP, GFSI, FSMA and company safety requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a Sanitation Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility to support food safety, employee safety, and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  - Following all GMP, OSHA, HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, food safety, sanitation, and company safety requirements while maintaining an audit-ready facility.
