Job summary

Mennel Milling Company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator in Fostoria, OH. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, transferring, and packing flour and feed products using forklifts, and ensuring safe, audit-ready operations.

You will perform sanitation tasks, load trucks and railcars, and complete required documentation and inspections while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, flour milling, or related industrial fields preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification; CDL and truck driving experience preferred.
• Capable of passing a respirator fit test and performing duties while wearing a respirator.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transfer, and pack flour and feed products using forklifts and other equipment.
• Perform sanitation tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready facility.
• Load bulk and bagged flour trucks and railcars and complete required documentation and inspections.

What You’ll Do

As a Shipping & Receiving Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing, packing, loading, shipping, and receiving of flour and feed products while maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready facility.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading, unloading, transferring, and packing flour and feed products using forklifts and other equipment.
• Performing sanitation tasks including vacuuming, mopping, washing, and maintaining an infestation-free facility.
• Loading bulk and bagged flour trucks and railcars while completing required documentation and inspections.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing, food processing, flour milling, or related industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification; CDL and previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and safely perform job duties while wearing a respirator.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
