Job summary

TW Garner Food Company is seeking a dependable Sanitation Technician to support safe, sanitary, and food-safe production. This role cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares production equipment, processing areas, tanks, pipelines, and related surfaces in accordance with company procedures and sanitation schedules.

The Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring employee safety, food safety, product integrity, sanitation effectiveness, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow procedures accurately.
• Ability to work in a wet, manufacturing environment and use PPE correctly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing areas, tanks, pipelines, and related surfaces.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, inspect, and reassemble equipment as required.
• Operate sanitation systems and cleaning tools safely and effectively.
• Complete sanitation tasks daily, weekly, monthly, and per schedule.
• Maintain sanitation records, logs, and inspection forms accurately.
