Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to tolerate dust or chemicals.
• Not be affected by moving equipment or machinery.
• Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, climbing, crawling, and repetitive motions as required.
• Learn and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, scrub, rinse, sterilize, and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• May use high-pressure hoses or nozzles, dry cleaning methods, or other cleaning and sanitizing methods as directed.
• Be mindful of water usage; ensure solids are not washed down drains; and the spray from hoses is controlled and not directed at people, electrical equipment, or other equipment that may be damaged from water.
• Keep areas and walkways cleared for safety by putting away hoses and cleaning up messes as outlined.
• Maintain food safety and personnel safety through proper handling of cleaning agents and chemicals.
