Job summary

DePalo Foods Inc. is seeking a dedicated sanitation associate to perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks across the facility, including equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces, with attention to safety and efficiency.

You will manage trash, disinfect restrooms, maintain supplies, report repairs, and collaborate with team to ensure a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in sanitation, occupational health & safety, and chemical material handling is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50–55 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trash Removal: Empty and clean trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Cleaning & Hygiene: Clean and disinfect restrooms to maintain a sterile environment.
• Cleaning Delicate Surfaces: Clean glass surfaces and mirrors with appropriate agents.
• Cleaning Supplies: Ensure adequate cleaning supplies are stocked and functional.
• Reporting Repairs: Report maintenance issues to supervisor on shift.
• Health & Safety: Follow OSHA regulations and use PPE properly.
• Teamwork: Support other staff and departments as needed.
• Other: Perform other related duties as assigned.
