Job summary

Ken’s Foods, Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking a production sanitation technician responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling production equipment while following all PPE, safety, and GMP guidelines. The role includes CIP operations and coordination with the packaging team to adjust tanks during overnight runs.

Candidate must be capable of working with pigging procedures and adhering to the pig program, ensuring a safe and compliant production environment in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to others.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble production equipment: clean, rinse, and sanitize all product contact machinery utilizing all required PPE equipment
• Reassemble production equipment after cleaning and sanitizing
• Chemically clean machinery while maintaining proper safety procedures
• CIP (Clean In Place) technique (training required)
• Comply to all safety, SQF, and GMP practices
• Participate in the “Daily Safety Captain Program”
• Trained and capable on “pigging” of product lines from processing kitchen
• Follow the “pig program” following procedure to retrieve/recover pigs and place them on appropriate storage boards
• Ability to monitor and coordinate with packaging team then change and or switch product tanks during overnight runs
• Other duties as assigned
