Job summary

Tyson Foods in Goodlettsville, TN is seeking a Sanitation Labor to maintain cleanliness in production and sanitation areas, following USDA standards. The role involves cleaning equipment, performing rinses, and applying chemicals under safe procedures.

Responsibilities

• Remove product, materials, and debris from assigned production areas.
• Perform a thorough pre-rinse of assigned equipment and areas, working from top to bottom.
• Apply approved cleaning chemicals and soaps to equipment and machinery according to established procedures.
• Perform a thorough final rinse of equipment and assigned areas.
• Inspect cleaned areas for deficiencies and complete necessary corrections.
• Clean and sanitize production processing areas according to established company and USDA standards.
• Follow required Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when performing assigned work.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment and safety equipment.
• Follow established sanitation, food safety, and company safety procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed to support sanitation operations.
• Must be willing and able to work with approved cleaning chemicals and soaps.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required.
