Compact Industries, Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Technician for the 2nd shift in St. Charles, IL. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary warehouse environment in line with Master Sanitation Schedule and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, deep sanitation of production areas, and assisting with blender washing tasks. A strong team player with attention to detail is preferred, with 2nd shift differential available.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to cooperate and work with a team.
• Previous sanitation experience preferred, especially in food-related settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned cleaning procedures to maintain a neat and sanitary environment in designated areas.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas of the warehouse to Master Sanitation Schedule standards and safety guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, painting, organizing.
• Assist sanitation techs with disassembly/assembly when washing blenders as needed.
• Support other departments with sanitation-related needs and report inventory shortages of sanitation supplies.
• Conduct deep cleaning of machine rooms, blending areas, warehouse, and production floor.
• Utilize chemicals to clean parts and surfaces; prepare building for audits and customer visits.
• Operate scissor lifts, ladders, and rolling stairs; ensure cleaning tools are stored properly.
• Other duties as assigned.
