Job summary

Compact Industries, Inc. is seeking a sanitation-focused team member to uphold strict cleaning procedures across our warehouse and production areas in Ohio.

The role involves daily cleaning tasks, deep cleans of machine rooms, and assistance with sanitation-related needs for audits and customer visits. Prior sanitation experience, knowledge of HACCP and GMP, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sanitation, preferably in food industry or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

• Assist in deep cleaning of machine rooms, blending areas, and production floor.
• Prepare building for audits and customer visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow assigned cleaning procedures to maintain a neat and sanitary environment in designated areas.Maintain the interior and exterior areas of the warehouse to the standard level required by Master Sanitation Schedule, procedures, and safety guidelines.Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, painting, arranging, and organizing.Follow instructions directed by the Sanitation Technician II to assist in assembling and disassembling when washing blenders.Support other departments with sanitation-related needs, tools, or procedures.Report inventory shortages of sanitation supplies to supervisors or managers.Conduct deep cleaning of machine rooms, blending areas, warehouse, and production floor.Utilize chemicals to clean parts and surfaces.Prepare the building for audits and customer visits.Support off-site sanitation-related tasks, when required.Utilize a scissor lift, ladders, and rolling stairs to complete tasks.Make sure all cleaning tools for employees are clean and stored properly like brushes, gloves, soap, napkins, garbage cans, etc.Other duties as assigned.Do you want to transform your job into a career?Compact Industries, Inc. is a women/family-owned company, and we are looking for energetic people that are eager for success to join our team.
