Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain an immaculate work area in compliance with FDA and ADEM standards. The role requires cleaning, inspecting tools, and keeping warehouses and equipment in good order during the shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Training pay starts at $15.91 per hour with potential for full-time employment. Typical duties include handling spills, disposing of waste properly, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe, clean facility environment across dock

Responsibilities

• Maintain an immaculate work area meeting FDA and ADEM compliance.
• Assemble and inspect cleaning tools and equipment; replace substandard items.
• Clean warehouse floors, remove pallets, and restack items to reduce clutter.
• Inspect scales and grounds; clean scales using high pressure air hoses and brushes.
• Be prepared to clean spills and dispose of materials properly; contain spills when reported.
• Clean areas around truck receiving, marine leg, and equipment; ensure orderly grounds.
