Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality across our poultry processing operations. This hands-on role cleans and sanitizes equipment, production areas, and facilities in a fast-paced environment, following USDA and company sanitation requirements.

You will apply cleaning chemicals with proper PPE, follow SOPs, and report hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in poultry, food industry or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas per USDA, food safety and company standards.
• Prepare, mix and apply cleaning chemicals with proper PPE.
• Inspect areas after sanitation and report issues or hazards promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently.
