Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and facilities in a fast-paced poultry processing plant. You will follow USDA and company sanitation standards, use approved cleaners, and adhere to safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and food quality.

This role emphasizes reliability, detail, and teamwork. Base hourly rate is $20.96 with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts and a $3.00 perfect attendance incentive.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Sanitation experience preferred; experience with chemicals beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA and company standards.
• Prepare and apply cleaning chemicals following PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect after sanitation and report issues or hazards promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and safely.
• Follow SOPs and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
