Job summary

Pure Food Specialties is hiring a full-time sanitation worker to clean plant facilities, disinfect surfaces, sanitize equipment, and maintain a tidy environment across manufacturing, distribution, and administration areas. Weekend coverage is required, with 1st and 2nd shift hours.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, ability to read labels in English (bilingual preferred), some cleaning experience, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

• Responsible for all cleaning of soiled supplies and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Maintains all buildings by washing walls, ceilings, floors, removing trash and disinfects all refrigerator units and cleans trash room.
• Operate rack washer, power washer, steamer, washer extractors and dryers.
• Responsible for maintaining supplies such as paper products for bathrooms and towel dispensers
• Always keeping assigned work area clean and reporting contamination or suspicious activity

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning to plant facilities by using approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces
• sanitize all components of our food production and processing equipment
• ensure there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line
• All sanitation must be available to work weekends
• Maintenance of all buildings per Company Policy, washing walls, ceilings, floors, disinfects all refrigerator units and cleans trash room
• Disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning
• Adhere to GMP guidelines
• Know chemical properties and proper use of cleaning solutions
