Job summary

Kerry Group in Vesper, Wisconsin is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). You will help maintain a clean, safe, food-grade production environment and ensure product quality.

The role requires lifting 50–100 lbs, working all three shifts, and following HACCP, allergen and GMP requirements. You will operate floor scrubber, scissor lift and boom lift as part of daily sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Must be able to work all three shifts.
• Have some knowledge of the use of tools and be mechanically inclined.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Understand and follow HACCP, allergen, environmental and customer demands and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate the floor scrubber and maintain its cleaning checklist.
• Operate the powered man-lift for rafter cleaning.
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning list.
• Maintain Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and works with others professionally.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; follow all safety and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

Our Vesper location is part of Kerry's Applied Health & Nutrition division and is a unique manufacturing site that produces proteins, lactose, coatings, and flavors used in products enjoyed by consumers around the world. As a Sanitation Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment, helping ensure the quality and integrity of the products we manufacture every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee will be responsible for daily/ weekly sanitation tasks while also contributing to the general overall condition of the plant.

• Ability to operate the floor scrubber and maintain its cleanliness (daily maintenance checklist)
• Ability to operate the powered man-lift. (Rafter cleaning)
• Completion of daily /weekly cleaning list.
• Upkeep of Master Sanitation list (MSS)(MVP)
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and relates in a positive manner when interacting with all personnel.
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Understand and comply with all HACCP, allergen, environmental, regulatory and customer demands and requirements.
• Have a good understanding of the general purpose, philosophy, and direction of Kerry as a whole and, specifically, the Jackson plant as it relates to employee policies and expectations, quality, customer satisfaction, GMPs, sanitation, and production requirements.
• Maintain awareness of customer and regulatory demands and focus.
• Responsible to adhere to quality system requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to understand / follow written and verbal communication and
• Perform any reasonable request from supervisors.
