Job summary

Litehouse Foods seeks a Mixer in Lowell to load ingredients, operate batch systems, and maintain accurate records. You will work on multiple shifts with pay differentials to support high‑value production.

Expect to handle 55‑lb lifts, follow food safety policies, and contribute to a clean, organized production area while adapting to overtime and weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 0–3 years in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate or learn batch automation technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce high-value, detailed recipes.
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided!).
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches while following strict allergen protocols.
• Keep your workspace and the production area clean and organized.
• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO practices.
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain accurate and timely production records.
• Adhere to all food safety policies and promptly report any concerns to your supervisor.
• Work flexible hours as needed, including frequent overtime and weekends.

Shift: [5am-5:30pm on rotating 223]
Starting Pay: $20.50/hr
Additional Pay: 2nd shift is $1.50/hr, 3rd/D/C Shift is $3/hr

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
