Job summary

Litehouse Foods in Hurricane, UT is seeking a Sanitation Team Leader to oversee sanitation crews and drive safety, quality and compliance improvements. You will coach staff, lead shift hand-offs, and ensure documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of sanitation or manufacturing experience, knowledge of root-cause problem solving and food safety, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset aligned with Litehouse values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of sanitation or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of root-cause problem-solving and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coach employees to promote safe behavior and correct unsafe conditions quickly.
• Communicate training plans and provide coaching to crew members.
• Facilitate shift hand-offs and ensure cross-shift consistency.
• Verify and record sanitation documentation for compliance with food safety standards.
• Provide coaching and corrective feedback when errors occur.
• Conduct root-cause analyses for sanitation, safety, and quality issues.
• Lead sanitation washes and ensure parameters are met.
• Partner with operations to improve wash and changeover efficiency.
• Assist with new hire orientation and training.
• Correct deviations to meet regulatory and company requirements.

We're seeking a Team Leader, Sanitation to oversee sanitation crews and drive improvements in safety, food quality, compliance, and performance. This role ensures our sanitation operations meet the highest standards while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience in sanitation or manufacturing required.
• Knowledge of root cause problem-solving and compliance with food safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset with accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to Litehouse values.
