Job description

Sanitation Worker – Green Bay, WI

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for production, warehouse and facility sanitation leadership, supporting production packaging and processing operations, product safety and regulatory compliance.

Shift Hours
  • 8‑hour shifts, 1st shift: 6:00 am‑2:00 pm.
  • Work includes weekends; 1–2 days off during the week.
  • Ability to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Pay

Pay: $19.61 per hour & $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain master sanitation schedule (MSS) and manage sanitation activities.
  • Operate scissors and boom lift while doing MSS.
  • Operate floor scrubber, cardboard baler, trash, bakery feed compactor, COP tank, dip tank.
  • Clean spiral freezer, silo, outside surfaces; use pressure washer machine.
  • Follow required programs, audits, fumigations, and documentation.
  • Perform proactive pest control inspections/documentation.
  • Maintain safe operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment (floor scrubber, COP tank, chemical foamer, industrial vacuum).
  • Maintain inside and outside facility/offices/grounds.
  • Sanitize production lines, production and warehouse facilities.
  • Complete inspections/documentation accurately and timely.
  • Operate forklift and skid loader safely.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training new employees.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (minimum).
  • Previous industrial and/or food manufacturing sanitation experience (preferred).
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment (preferred).
  • Experience working with chemicals.
  • Minimum of 3 years sanitation experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting for extended periods.
  • Climb or work at heights using stairs, ladders, lifts, platforms.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment (safety shoes, face masks, glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, hair/beard net, gloves as required).
  • Adhere to grooming requirements.
  • Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet conditions.
  • Work around high‑speed moving machinery.
  • Work with allergens present in a food environment.
