Job summary

Tulkoff Foods in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a hands-on Sanitation Technician to maintain clean and sanitary conditions across processing areas, following SOPs and GMP standards.

You will disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production, blending and grinding equipment; document procedures and monitor cleanliness to ensure product safety.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, occasional stooping or climbing, and safe operation of production equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• May be required to stoop and/or climb as needed.
• Must be able to operate production equipment to facilitate cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production, blending and grinding equipment.
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment utilizing SOPs, proper chemicals and equipment.
• Document sanitation procedures on appropriate forms.
• Clean and sanitize areas of the facility to include floors, bathrooms, warehouses, etc.
• Continually monitor equipment cleanliness to ensure product safety and quality.
• Follow all GMPs and company rules as depicted in the employee handbook and SOPs.

Summary:The primary role of the Sanitation Technician is to ensure overall facility sanitation in compliance with quality control standards.Primary Responsibilities:The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production, blending and grinding equipment.Clean and sanitize processing equipment utilizing SOPs, proper chemicals and equipment.Ensure proper dilution and application of chemicals.Document sanitation procedures on appropriate forms.Clean and sanitize areas of the facility to include floors, bathrooms, warehouses, etc.Continually monitor equipment cleanliness to ensure product safety and quality.Follow all GMPs and company rules as depicted in the employee handbook and SOPs.Operate in a safe manner during all activities and advise supervision of any safety or security issues or breeches.Qualifications:To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.May be required to stoop and or climb as needed.Must be able to operate production equipment to facilitate cleaning.
