POSITION SUMMARY: Here at Nemacolin, our associates know to “Expect the Unexpected” – You have come across a career opportunity where entertainment and excitement are the job description. This position is committed to making every experience memorable while having fun and relishing the incredible atmosphere of the resort.

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the daily disposal of trash at the resort at various facilities on and off property.

Areas of knowledge and experience include general labor, garbage/trash removal, snow removal, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

1. Lifting, transporting, and disposing of garbage in a safe, effective, and environmentally friendly manner.
2. Ensuring recyclables such as glass, paper, and plastic are properly separated.
3. Operate equipment and trash compactors on property effectively.
4. Work independently, coordinating daily workflow across assigned locations.
5. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, then reassemble equipment.
6. Perform any combination of essential job functions as required or assigned by the Director of Engineering or designee, including but not limited to snow removal, rotating shifts, or other engineering tasks.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and coworkers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to speak English.
