The role requires strong safety discipline, data accuracy, and hands-on operation of equipment. You will drive continuous improvement and mentor teammates in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures (LOTO, Confined Space) understood and applied.
• Follow GMPs and SQF principles relevant to the role.
• Lean management concepts across the production line.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Oracle and RedZone.
• Ensure data accuracy and clear documentation.
• Basic math skills for workflow calculations.
• Plan workload according to the production schedule.
• Identify tasks and complete them efficiently.
• Occasional heavy lifting of 40–60 pounds.
• Operate pallet jacks and powered lifts.
• Communicate effectively and work as a team.
• Serve as backup for other Leads.

Responsibilities

• Executes the daily production schedule for the room to follow planned sequence.
• Leads start-up and changeovers adhering to SOPs.
• Monitors equipment, workflow and operator performance to identify downtime.
• Records downtime events in RedZone with timestamps and notes.
• Escalates unresolved issues per BEF escalation process.
• Collaborates with maintenance, quality and supervisors on fixes.
• Supports training and onboarding with HR for new hires.
• Meets production goals and governs room performance.
• Operates machinery and sets proper machine configurations.
• Performs sanitation duties and ensures paperwork accuracy.
